NYA Eastern Region Leads Dynamic Youth Summit to Drive Transformative Development

The NYA Eastern Regional Secretariat, in partnership with STAR Ghana, Kofkro, and Youth Advocate, successfully organised a two day Youth Summit under the theme “Harnessing the Power of the Youth for Transformative Development.” The event gathered 500 young participants from across the region.

The summit, however, provided a platform for young people to explore how their collective power, creativity, and leadership can shape inclusive and sustainable communities. It featured plenary sessions and interactive dialogues built around five key sub-themes: Youth Participation and Governance, Youth Mental Health and Well-Being (Red Means Stop), Entrepreneurship, Right to Information and Accountability and Youth Champions Against Corruption

The event strengthened youth engagement and highlighted their vital role in driving positive change within the region and the nation at large
