HOTCATT Pays Courtesy Call on National Youth Authority to Explore Collaborative Opportunities

The Hotel, Catering and Tourism Training Institute (HOTCATT), under the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, has paid a courtesy call on the National Youth Authority (NYA) to explore areas of collaboration aimed at empowering young people through skills development and job creation in the hospitality sector.

During the visit, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of NYA in charge of Programmes and Operations, Alhaji Inusah Mahama highlighted the multi-sectoral nature of youth development and emphasized the importance of strategic partnerships.

He noted that the collaboration between HOTCATT and the NYA is both timely and essential, as it aligns with national efforts to build the capacity of young people and create sustainable employment opportunities in the tourism and hospitality industry.

The engagement marks the beginning of a shared vision to equip the youth with practical, industry-relevant skills to thrive in one of Ghana’s fastest-growing sectors.
