France Volontaires Pays Courtesy Call on National Youth Authority

As part of efforts to strengthen ongoing partnership initiatives, France Volontaires has paid a courtesy call on the National Youth Authority (NYA) to discuss key issues related to youth volunteerism, environmental protection, and forest conservation.

During the meeting, the Deputy Director of Programmes at France Volontaires, Ms. Atanaska Guillaudeau, emphasized that the visit aimed to facilitate an exchange of ideas and explore collaborative plans to empower Ghanaian youth through volunteerism and environmental stewardship. She also expressed interest in reviewing the progress of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between France Volontaires and the NYA. Furthermore, she extended an invitation to the NYA to participate in an upcoming programme in Cotonou, Benin, scheduled for November 12, 2025. The event will focus on mobilizing resources and volunteers from various countries to support national development efforts.

In his response, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer of NYA in charge of Programs and Operations, Alhaji Inusah Mahama, reaffirmed the Authority’s commitment to youth volunteerism.
