The Chief Executive Officer for the National Youth Authority, Osman Ayariga Esq. has urged the Ghanaian youth not to see AI as a competition but a tool to scale up everything they do. He said this at the 2025 World Youth Skills Day under the theme: Youth Empowerment through AI and Digitization: the role of Technology in Hands-on skills for the future Workforce.
He said when it comes to the National Apprenticeship Program, development is not mainly about transformation but about providing tools for the youth to build their future. Mr. Ayariga mentioned that NYA envisions Ghana where every young person can thrive, innovate, and contribute meaningfully to the economy
He concluded by inviting various stakeholders to join in the vital mission of equipping youth to develop themselves and the economy
